Ron Miller gave us an update on the Hope Walk. $6000 was raised just from the members of Bluff Point Church. Thanks to all who contributed. Dick Smith gave us an invitation to the open house on Sunday, November 8 at 2pm for the newest habitat house in Yates County. It is on Bigelow Avenue in Dundee.
Our lesson this past week was on the story of rendering to Caesar the things that were Caesars into God the things that were Gods. Cesar thought a lot of himself and had his image printed on coins. He was the ruler of the land. They paid taxes to the Romans for land that was taken from them. They could not carry grave images in, therefore, could not carry Caesars coin. This was certainly an interesting story taken from Matthew 22: 15-22.
Thank you too Amy Van Dyke and Nancee Scott for delicious treats. The apple dumplings were particularly tasty.
See you on Sunday!
